Phoenix graduated from East West College of Healing Arts and has been practicing bodywork for over thirteen years.
Her approach to bodywork is slow, intentional and therapeutic. She utilizes deliberate touch as means to invite tissues to soften, allowing her to access targeted layers to make impactful change, based on the individual needs of each client. She focuses on soft tissue manipulation through grip via skin-to-skin contact or through clothing or linen, allowing her to treat with little-to-no use of oils.
During your session you can expect dialogue about your musculoskeletal symptoms, your lifestyle, how you use your body, and your priorities for your care. She will perform a postural assessment to observe how your body rests and how it moves in space. This process allows her to formulate a plan for your session with the goal of alleviating discomfort and helping to determine the root cause for your symptoms. Her approach results in bodywork that is effective and specific to your unique needs and allows lasting relief by creating sustainable structural changes.
Phoenix grew up in Oregon. Outside the office, she can be found at home in her garden, at CrossFit, knitting, camping, fishing and spending time with her family.
